Rehan Ahmed's stunning five-wicket haul has left England on the verge of victory in the first Test against Pakistan in Rawalpindi. Ahmed, who is making his Test debut, took 5/48 as Pakistan were bowled out for 216 in their second innings, setting England a target of 167 to win.

England's bowlers had earlier dismissed Pakistan for 304 in their first innings, with James Anderson and Ollie Robinson taking three wickets each. England then reached 216 in their first innings, with Ben Duckett scoring 63 and Joe Root making 54.

With Ahmed's five-wicket haul, England have now taken 15 wickets in the match and are well-placed to win their first Test in Pakistan since 2000.
