England Victorious in Second Test to Clinch Series

Robinson Secures Final Wicket as England Triumph by 26 Runs

In a thrilling conclusion to the Test series between England and Pakistan, the visiting team emerged victorious in the second Test match, securing an unassailable 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

England's victory was hard-fought, with the match going down to the wire on the fifth and final day. Pakistan's determined efforts to chase down a challenging target of 303 runs fell short by just 26 runs, with England's Ollie Robinson delivering the decisive blow by dismissing Faheem Ashraf for a golden duck.

The match, played at the Rajkot Cricket Stadium in India, saw both teams battle it out in intense conditions. England had the upper hand early on, posting a formidable first-innings total of 578 before Pakistan responded with a respectable 363. England then declared their second innings on 170/6, setting Pakistan a challenging target.

Pakistan's chase got off to a solid start, with openers Shan Masood and Mohammad Rizwan putting on a century partnership. However, England's bowlers fought back, claiming wickets at regular intervals to keep Pakistan under pressure. In the end, it was Robinson's heroics that secured the victory for England, as he dismissed Ashraf to spark wild celebrations among the English players.
